Spooky + Satisfying + Stocks

Blayne Macauley October 29, 2021

Hello and welcome back to TPL,

Fall is my favorite season. Between football, my birthday, sweaters, chili and fires, I just don’t think there’s a better season. This has been a fun and cold week in Atlanta as we gear up for Halloween! I love seeing beautiful homes decked out in spooky accessories. It reminds me of this post from a few years ago when Oliver and I walked through our neighborhood as first time residents!

I can’t believe how little Oliver was in these photos. This was his first Halloween, and this is us now (photo by Jimmy). We went to Halloween carnival last weekend and my children are now too old for cute costumes, as you can plainly see!

House of the Week

This week’s home is listed by Kristen Sodemann of Beacham & Co. and I chose it because of the abundance of natural light and lush landscaping.

TPL Loves Food

Lucy McCloud of Beacham & Company recommended this Chicken Piccata recipe to me this week. It comes from The Defined Dish Cookbook, which is one we both love.

Passion Project

During Covid I got super into both the Stock Market and Trading. I got so into it that I’m on the second season of a podcast I created about trading small cap stocks. I’m certainly not the only one who got into trading during the pandemic. With the rise of Robinhood, the publicity of the GME and AMC squeeze and of course the current NFT craze, America’s eyes are focused on the market and many are dipping their toes in for the first time. Our latest episode is my own personal journey with the market, and I’d love you to listen. You literally don’t even need to know what a stock is. I swear.
