It's that time. The beginning of a new year also brings the end of another. While 2009 has been a hard year for most people, I feel as if it's been one of amazing growth for me, professionally. As I looked back to choose my best 20 photographs from 2009 I realized the amazing selection from which I was choosing. I have never before developed such a diverse breadth of work in a single year. I will go forward into 2010 with all the knowledge I have gained this past year, and a head full of ideas for the year to come.
Thank you to everyone who has helped me with this blog. Though I have only been writing for 3 months, this blog has connected me with some of the most amazing people, and allowed me to get honest feedback. This feedback has forced me to become a better photographer... for which I am forever grateful.
You will notice that these photographs are not my "usual" photographs of houses. I love my architectural photography, but in the end I just love capturing things that are beautiful. These photographs represent my personal definition of beauty. I was going to explain each one, but I truly believe they speak for themselves.
