Mary "Quinn" Macauley was born May 25th at 4:52 PM. She weighed 6 lbs and 12 oz and was 19" long. The delivery was perfect. She is healthy, happy, calm, and very well loved. We named her Mary after both Jimmy's grandmother as well as the housekeeper who has been with our family since I was 7 months old. They are both women I love and respect so much, and I'm honored to have a daughter named after them. We named her Quinn because we liked it and thought it fit her :) We were actually on the fence with a few names, but when we got moved to a recovery room a nurse came in, picked her up, and said, "Oh she looks like a little Eskimo." I'd been looking everywhere for a sign, and decided that pointed directly to the Bob Dylan song... so we named her Quinn. We think it's perfect for her. :)
Oliver loves her and keeps asking to hold her or hold her hand. :)
