Atlanta's Newest Foodie Mecca: Sprout's Farmer's Market.

Blayne Macauley September 21, 2015

This post is dedicated to my stepmother Missy.  Her birthday was this weekend, and we celebrated in a big way with Sesame Street live in the afternoon and a surprise party in the evening.  I want to give major props to Chef Robert Lupo for providing the most fantastic meal and Pollen for making sure the flowers were perfect!  It was a wonderful evening with family and friends celebrating a lady we love so much!  Happy Birthday Missy!!

Missy's Birthday

Missy and I share a love for food and farmers markets, so in honor of her birthday, I wanted to do a post on the new grocery store/farmers market Sprouts Farmers Market - Sandy Springs that just opened.  The store is located at the corner of Roswell Road and and Wieuca.  I spend a lot of time shooting houses in this part of Atlanta, so I've watched the construction and seen the "coming soon" sign for a long time.  Every time I passed, I slowed down hoping it was open, and last week it was!  I pulled right over and went inside to get the scoop for you guys.

Sprouts

Sprouts is sort of a cross between Fresh Market and Trader Joe's.  They offer a lot of their own products (Trader Joe's), and they also offer a large scoop your own nuts/trail mix/spice section.  The bar of prepared food looked really good, and they even offered a whole container of pulled chicken.  Why hasn't someone else thought of that?  Genius.  The produce looked as fresh as a farmers market's, and the flowers looked wholesome and seasonal.  I was really impressed with the store as a whole, and I will be returning often. Below are some of my favorite scenes from the store.
