10 Questions: Clary Bosbyshell

Blayne Macauley January 8, 2015

Welcome to my new weekly feature 10 Questions.  This series will profile talents Southerners and ask them 10 Questions about their daily lives and life in their city.

Clary Bosbyshell is up first.  Full disclosure (because I'm really into that this week) Clary is my friend.  She's one of those people I knew by reputation and weaseled my way into being her friend-- total girl crush style Why?  She's awesome and the epitome of Stylish Atlanta.  She always looks effortlessly chic.  It seems like an outpouring of her unparalleled talent as an interior designer.  She was born into it!  He mom is famous Atlanta Interior Designer Margret Bosbyshell (famous on this blog for designing my favorite house in Atlanta). They are an impressive team and seem to have their fingers on the pulse of classic Atlanta style with a modern twist.  Clary is a mom as well, and pulls it off with such ease a grace.  Her son Rayfe is just as cute as they come, and with the purchase of her beautiful new home, Clary is on top of the world right now.

Everyday work day is completely different which is so much about what I love about being an interior designer, but every morning I get my 2 1/2 year old son, Rayfe, out of his bed and snuggle before we get up. Then depending on the day I go to the office, a clients home, warehouses, Scotts, ADAC, Antiques Shops, Im all over the Place. I always make sure to be home by 3:30/4 so I can spend time with Rayfe.

Paulo Coelho's masterpiece tells the magical story of Santiago, an Andalusian shepherd boy who yearns to travel in search of a worldly treasure as extravagant as any ever found.

The story of the treasures Santiago finds along the way teaches us, as only a few stories can, about the essential wisdom of listening to our hearts, learning to read the omens strewn along life's path, and, above all, following our dreams.

7. What is your favorite recipe to cook at home?

The Barefoot Contessa, Ina's Perfect Roast Chicken. Over time I've made this recipe my own and tailored it to the season.
