I am not sure how many of you know this about me, but before I graduated from the University of Georgia, I went to Boston University. I chose that school for the Photojournalism Department, and when I transferred my Sophomore year, I was one credit shy of a painting minor. Although I do not really paint anymore, the walls of our house are full of paintings I created (see dress piece above). I love being surrounded by these pieces, and recently I've thought a lot about picking the paintbrush back up and seeing what happens. Until then, I remain inspired by these ladies on Instagram. I love seeing their beautiful pieces popping up in my feed, and they make every day a little more beautiful.Read More
It's a family affair here on TPL! Today I'm featuring Hailey Lowe Fennell, daughter of Janey Lowe and sister of Elise Baumann :) Hailey is an extremely talented artist from Atlanta. I met Hailey a few years ago, and she helped me realize my dream of getting artwork into a gallery, for which I will forever be thankful. At that time she was in graduate school at SCAD and doing the most interesting projects.
Hailey now lives and works in Mt. Pleasant, South Carolina. It's been such a joy to watch her grow and become the artist she is today. She has paintings at Gregg Irby here in Atlanta. She is also an instillation artist and did a fascinating exploration of animal interactions with technology, which became her "Machines of Loving Grace" film and video still series.Read More

She has a photo journalistic type approach that catches the magic in tiny moments. Below are some of my favorite wedding photos.Read More
