Happy Happy Oh My Friends!!

So many of my friends have amazing things going on in their lives, and I am so proud of them!  I wanted to take a second here around the holidays and tell them all how proud/excited I am for them.  Ready?

First up, my friend Laura (far right) who works with me here at Beacham.  Laura signed up to run a half marathon on March 18th.  The marathon raises money for The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.  She has worked so hard raising money and training, and I am just so proud of her.  To donate money to her, please visit this link.

Secondly I wanted to mention my friend Allison Harper.  Allison is a wonderful interior designer who I work with sometimes taking photos.  She is having a trunk show TONIGHT from 5-8 at 715 Miami Circle.  BE THERE.  This event was also mentioned by my friend Allie who writes the HYSTERICAL blog Baxter Bark Twice.

Next I want to give a shout out to my friends at Tex’s Tacos.  This amazing food truck was started by some great boys I have known since high school.

Jimmy and I started walking over on Wednesday nights in Virginia Highland and getting tacos from the truck.  They are amazing!  Truly!  Please go by and get some food.  You won’t regret it.  They were just named one of Atlanta Magazines 8 Great New Food Trucks. Congratulations!  So happy for you guys!

And now we got to Lauren and Jason of The Whiskey Gentry.  I am sure by this point you are all very much aware of my love for The Whiskey Gentry (Interview with Lauren, Beacham 5th Anniversary Party Post), but I have to say it again.

We went this past Friday to their Merry Y’all Tide Celebration at the Variety Playhouse.

The show was so great, and over 600 people came!

I am so happy for you guys!

And finally I wanted to give a shout out to my friend Dani, who co-owns the boutique Flock in Boston.  I introduced you to here here in the post about the Phish Gorge show this summer.  Jimmy and I went to Boston a few weeks ago and I had the pleasure of seeing Flock in person.  It was really great.  I basically think Dani has the coolest job ever, and I’m super jealous.  She just styled and modeled in a beautiful look book for Flock.  The photos were based on my FAVORITE BOOK OF ALL TIMES The Hunger Games.  READ IT. Also, look at how beautiful Flock’s Look Book is!

Aren’t the pictures beautiful!!  Way to go Dani.

I am so proud of all my friends.  Congratulations everyone.
